Road Safety Campaign Week Launched at Kozhikode Beach
Marking the beginning of the ‘DC Road Safety Campaign Week’, City Police Commissioner A V George officially launched the initiative on Sunday at Kozhikode Beach by pinning a badge on a newly enrolled road safety campaigner.
The symbolic act signifies the start of a city-wide mission to promote traffic awareness, responsible driving, and pedestrian safety. The campaign, in collaboration with local youth groups and civic bodies, aims to reduce accidents through education, community participation, and active enforcement.
Commissioner George emphasized the importance of public involvement in making roads safer for all, especially in a rapidly growing urban landscape like Kozhikode.
