Expired Food Sales Stopped at Beach Carts with Kozhikode Collector’s Support
In a significant step towards public health and food safety, Cahoots, with the active support of the Kozhikode District Collector, successfully intervened to stop the sale of expired and unsafe food items at local beach food carts.
Following complaints and on-ground observations, the team conducted awareness and inspection drives to ensure that food served to the public meets safe standards. Vendors were educated on hygiene practices and the importance of using fresh ingredients, while stricter checks were encouraged.
