Paws & Smiles: Kids and Creatures Together
Paws & Smiles is a child-centered campaign aimed at fostering kindness, empathy, and a sense of responsibility in children by encouraging meaningful connections with animals. Through this initiative, children learn the value of compassion, care, and coexistence while developing a deeper understanding of animal welfare.
The campaign includes engaging and educational activities such as interactive pet days, where children can safely meet and bond with animals from local shelters. It also features fun workshops that teach children how to care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and understanding animal needs. Creative expression is encouraged through storytelling and art, allowing children to share their feelings and experiences related to animals.
In addition, the campaign promotes awareness about pet adoption, helping children understand the importance of giving shelter animals a loving home. Schools are encouraged to set up small animal corners or birdhouses, giving children opportunities to care for animals regularly. The “Kindness Cards” activity lets children create messages of love and gratitude for animals, promoting empathy and emotional connection.
This initiative aims to shape more compassionate young individuals, strengthen community involvement in animal welfare, and reduce fear or indifference toward animals. It welcomes collaboration with schools, NGOs, shelters, local artists, and families who share the vision of building a more caring society.
